Hey friendships! What’s up? It’s 9am for me and my day is just about to start but I got to share with you something that’s very crucial- and funny. 😂

My financial status, and maybe some of you too- lol.

As you all know, I’m just a student- and being a student is a curse where you’re 101% bound to NOT have enough money to go around. Searching around internet and stumbling upon a lot of things that you’re interested but couldn’t afford; I couldn’t even afford food for myself- ha! So, last night while I was WordPressin’- y’know; somebody posted a comment where s/he said that s/he enjoyed her/his EOS. Of course- your grandpa was envious, but only for that short period of time. m’kay?

I replied, but /meh/. I won’t share it with you. It’s embarrassing.

If you know me in real-life, you’ll know that I’m that type of person who doesn’t like spending money- especially on things that are NOT necessary; and sometimes with the essentials as well. I don’t find spending very therapeutic and it makes me anxious to see my “hard-earned” money going inside the cash register.

Anyway, Here are some of the reasons why I am broke AF.
Without further ado, let’s begin.

1. [ I buy FOOD a lot ]

A lot of people told me that I’m skinny AF. Well, there’s no denying it- I really am. The worse problem is that I eat a lot but I don’t put any weight- which makes me wa
nt more food. Sometimes, when I feel really desperate to put on weight I buy lots and lots of junk foods in hopes of someday I might buff up even just a little. I spend too much money at school and places where TAX is not less than 50-80%; unjust! I always thought of packing my own lunch but I guess it just doesn’t work as well- waaay too busy. Yeah, I know there’s time for everything. To be honest this is the main reason why I can’t add anything to my savings. Have you ever been in a situation where you get that cringing feeling whenever you crave for something- and it just won’t go away unless you go somewhere to ease that? Yesterday, I was with my friends and then suddenly I thought of eating burger. I just had to buy a burger even though I’m hella’ broke- and I ended up more broke afterwards. Why are food so expensive anyway? 😁

2. [ Buying Unnecessary Things ]

By this, I don’t mean food.
Have you ever been in a situation where you’re walking in a mall and you’re carrying a sufficient amount of money and you pass by awesome stores with really awesome stuffs. You’ll wander around; look for things that seem useful; and eventually regrets buying those items because you don’t really need them in the first place. Raise your hands up!

I remember once when I pass by National Bookstore and saw a Post-It Sale. It was so impossible to not buy- 60% off. Who doesn’t buy that? I never got to use it. The adhesive dried out since the box where I’ve put it got exposed to direct sunlight. Too bad. But really, I never needed it. Sometimes we just spend and spend relentlessly without reconsidering; and I’m not even wealthy. Though I don’t really spend on clothes, shoes, devices/techs because I have nothing to spend, lol.

NOTE: I buy books, a lot.

3. [ Lastly; I’m literally EVERYWHERE ]

Yes, I’m not home all the time. You will always see me hanging-out at my friend’s houses, malls, school, parks, graveyards, markets, subdivisions, other people’s garden- everywhere!

When you wander around a lot you still spend money for the transportation. Here in the Philippines, Jeepneys are the most accessible form of transport. They’re not free of course. I walk around until my feet hurts, and eventually starve. Cha-ching! Th
ere’s no way you’re not going spending money when you’re outdoors. I just can’t help being outside, can you? I need help here.
