In botany, succulent plants, also known as succulents or sometimes fat plants, are plants that have some parts that are more than normally thickened and fleshy, usually to retain water in arid climates or soil conditions. The word “succulent” comes from the Latin word “sucus”, meaning juice, or sap.

PS: I really love this very professional photo of plants below and it makes me want to buy a camera to take photos like these too but I’m way too broke to do so. I’ll be putting a blog post soon about the cameras that I’d want to have. I’d also try to give my opinions about them and my expectation about those babies. You better watch out! Soon…

(This make me want succulent plants in my house again! Right Now!)

What I love about succulent plants is that they don’t need a lot of care, attention and water. Just like me, just kidding. You don’t have to maintain it that much but it needs a lot of sun.
My recent succulent died because of too much exposure to rain water. They are really good to look at and it makes the room brighter.

My recent experience about taking care of a succulent is a tragedy. I’ve tried every possible way to help it, and I even did a chant for it and lit some candles for it but I think excessive water already got into it and that water started destroying the whole plant day after day. Originally, the succulent came from my brother’s wife (Ate Bhe), then after some time they passed it on me since they can’t take care of it anymore. She told me that she got it from BGC where she go to work and bought if for like a doller a piece. What a steal!  It was really really nice when they first got it, then eventually it drowned because of me and it withered.

NOTE: By the way, succulent plants are literally cactis without thorns. They’re in the form of a bloom and they’re really pretty. They vary sizes and colors. I’m being very factual here and that’s a good thing.
